Once you’ve learned the basics of Sophrology in Level One, have worked with its power to shape your future in Level Two, and have taken the Level Three training that helps you integrate past experiences and develop your positive emotions, you are ready for this Level Four training.
In this eight lesson course, you grow from developing and integrating your own self, to feeling yourself an integral and meaningful part of all life. You work on embodying your core values, learn exercises to enhance your sense of purpose in the world, and continue the work of deepening your body awareness, particularly in relation to your internal organs. In addition, you explore the topics of brain training, and using sophrology in coaching and in combination with other modalities.
If you want to read details of all the trainings available, you can do this here.
This training course is interactive and mentored, so you can share experiences and ask questions, and is offered in conjunction with
"Being reasonably traveled in meditation and spiritual practice, from Mindfulness and Buddhist practice from several angles, as well as Christian mysticism and contemplative practice such as Centering Prayer - I was unsure at first what space Sophrology would come to occupy in the landscape of self-development, self-care or self-exploration. Never mind the question of whether or not it would complement a spiritual worldview. Sophrology is not a spiritual practice but it amply engages all the building blocks needed for a healthy approach to one, as well as giving a toolkit for self-care and self-exploration which doesn't neglect the importance of either body or mind. I've encountered descriptions of Sophrology that refer to it as 'meditation for people who don't like to meditate'. The thing is, I do like to meditate, but never during any of the exercises, visualizations, or body-work did I feel like I was getting anyone's dumbed-down version of anything I had done before. It has enriched prior learning without feeling like a retread, as well as providing angles and explorations that prior learning either doesn't cover or takes for granted, without ever feeling overwhelming. All this, mediated through the lens of Philip Carr-Gomm's enjoyable and effective teaching style, has translated 36 weeks of learning into a life-long resource of practice"
